Thai Food

There are five key aspects to Thai food. They are sweet, sour, creamy, salty and heat. Heat, is in fact, normally classifed on it's own but also complimentry to the first four. However like all things in Thai food, it can be adjusted to your tastes.
One of the big differences between Thailand and the rest of the world is it's food. It ranges from spicy soups to sweet sticky rice. And each dish is a festival of flavours in your mouth!
Local street vendors can whip up a delicious meal in seconds. And more often than not their dishes taste better than the restaurants aimed at westerners.
The great thing about Thai food is that it's healthy as well. There are no processed ingredients or canned produce. Everything is natural, and most ingredients can be found at your local grocery.
The aim of this section is to allow those of you who have already been to Thailand, to cook dishes just like they were when you were over there.
My favourite dish was the Thai fried rice, which is different to Chinese fried rice. I liked the food so much that I did a cooking course when I was there. And I can assure you it was well worth the effort. I can now cook Thai fried rice just like the street vendors do.
To the left of the page is a short list of my favourite dishes. I can assure you every one of them is delicious.
If you have any recipes of your own, or have any suggestions on how to make the dishes better, please contact us via the 'contact us' link at the top right of the screen.
Enjoy!
